We want to ensure that every seller, from those offering physical products to digital goods, feels confident in using our platform to reach a broad audience. Below is a comprehensive breakdown of our seller fees, including category-based commission rates, payment processing fees, and withdrawal fees.


1. Category-Based Commission Fees

To maintain a fair pricing structure, we apply different commission fees based on product categories. These fees take into account average product margins and the nature of each category.

Commission Fee Breakdown by Category:

  • Appliances: 10% commission fee is charged on each sale in the Appliances category.
  • Baby & Kids: A 12% commission fee applies to products in this category.
  • Fashion: A higher 15% commission fee is applied due to the competitive nature of the fashion industry.
  • Digital Goods: A lower 8% to 10% commission fee is applied to digital goods, including eBooks, software, and other downloadable content, due to lower operational costs and no shipping fees.

This flexible structure ensures that your products are competitively priced, and you can still maximize your profit margins.


2. Payment Processing Fees

We use Stripe and PayPal for secure payment processing. These payment processors charge fees to handle transactions, which we transparently pass on to our sellers.

  • Stripe Payment Processing Fees:
    • 1.4% + £0.20 for UK transactions
    • 2.9% + £0.20 for international transactions
  • PayPal Payment Processing Fees:
    • 2.9% + £0.30 for UK transactions

To ensure that these payment processing costs are covered, we apply a 3% additional fee on each withdrawal. This covers the cost of transferring funds to your bank or payment processor.

Example:

  • If you sell a product for £1000, and the processing fee from Stripe or PayPal is 2.9% + £0.30, the total processing fee will be deducted from your sale. Then, a 3% withdrawal fee will be applied when you transfer your funds.

3. Withdrawal Fees

When you wish to withdraw your earnings from Storegrill UK, we charge a 3% withdrawal fee. This fee covers the cost of transferring your funds to your selected payment method, including bank accounts or payment platforms.

Example:

  • Sale Amount: £1000
  • Withdrawal Fee (3%): £30
  • Amount You Receive: £970

Your account must meet the minimum withdrawal threshold of £100 before you can request a withdrawal.


4. Free Withdrawal for High-Volume Sellers

We value our high-volume sellers and offer a free withdrawal option as a reward for reaching significant sales milestones. Sellers who exceed £500 in monthly sales will be eligible for one free withdrawal per month, allowing you to transfer funds without incurring the 3% withdrawal fee.


5. Promotional Fee Discounts for New Sellers

To help new sellers get started, we offer a promotional commission discount for the first three months. This provides an opportunity to establish your presence on our platform without high upfront costs.

Promotional Commission Fee:

  • First 3 Months: 5% commission fee on all sales (regardless of product category)
  • After the first three months, standard commission fees will apply based on your product category.

6. Seller Payment Options

Storegrill UK offers flexibility when it comes to receiving payments. You can withdraw your earnings via:

  • Bank Transfers: Direct transfers to your UK bank account.
  • PayPal: Transfer funds to your PayPal account.
  • Stripe: Transfer funds to your Stripe account, which supports multiple payment methods globally.

7. Refund Policy for Sellers

As a seller on Storegrill UK, it’s important to provide excellent customer service, including handling refunds when necessary. We require sellers to follow the guidelines outlined in our Returns and Refunds Policy, ensuring that all products are returnable within 30 days of receipt unless otherwise specified.

Refund Processing Fee: In case of a refund, the seller is responsible for the cost of processing the refund, including any related payment processing fees.
